From our founding by Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) educators inside of a Seneca High School broom closet, Class Act has a storied history of commitment to JCPS and its employees and students.

Our extensive partnership includes the implementation of our branches at Doss, Jeffersontown, and Southern High Schools, JCPS’s participation in our Heroes Financial Wellness Academy and Heroes of Education, and collaboration with various departments, including Professional Development, Career and Technical Education, and so much more.

Remaining true to our roots as educator-founded and education-focused, we truly understand the unique needs of educators and other school employees within JCPS and serve as a well-deserved employee benefit.

Louisville Teacher Residency

The Louisville Teacher Residency (LTR) is a one-year, urban teacher preparation program that aims to create a diverse teacher workforce through courageous conversations, racially equitable instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and meaningful reflection.

Class Act partnered with LTR to curate financial education curriculum to educate, mentor, and invite an open discussion on how we view and manage our personal finances. We believe the resources we provide LTR will empower not just the residents themselves, but also the students whose lives they impact.

Teach Kentucky

Class Act is proud to partner with Teach Kentucky as a trusted resource for program participants, many of whom are relocating from across the country to begin their teaching careers in the Louisville Metro area. We provide mentorship, offer financial awards that help ease the transition into both the teaching profession and the Louisville area, deliver financial literacy education, and support participants at every stage of their journey from onboarding through key milestones and well beyond.

Maryhurst

Class Act’s partnership with Maryhursts aims to make a meaningful difference for children and families in our community. Our team has been honored as Maryhurst’s Volunteers of the Month, supporting through hands-on efforts such as creating birthday cards, gift wrapping, participating in gardening groups, and assisting with a variety of events and service projects.

In addition, we’re proud sponsors of the Journey of Hope Luncheon, helping to raise awareness and critical support for Maryhurst’s mission. We value this partnership and remain dedicated to supporting Maryhurst and the impactful work they do every day.

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana

Class Act works closely with Junior Achievement (JA) of Kentuckiana and sponsors a booth at the annual JA Inspire—an event that introduces young people to career opportunities in our community. Class Act and JA have a similar mission to inspire young people to take charge of their future by preparing them to be successful in the workforce.
