What You Need to Know
Class Act Federal Credit Union will be performing an upgrade of our data systems and Online Banking.
We will be closed September 1-3.
Preparing for the Upgrade
- You will not be able to check your balance during the upgrade. Make sure you note your balance BEFORE Online Banking becomes unavailable at 12:00 PM EDT Saturday, August 31st.
- You can still use your debit and credit cards during the upgrade, and you will be able to withdraw money from ATMs. Please note there will be limited funds available and that you will NOT be able to check your balance at ATMs until the upgrade is complete, and any ATM deposits will NOT post until Tuesday, September 3rd.
- If you will be traveling or making a large purchase during the upgrade, please call us at 502-964-7575 so we can note your account.
- Any mortgage payments must be made prior to noon (EDT) on Saturday, August 31st. You will not be able to make mortgage payments again until the upgrade is complete. (PLEASE NOTE: If your payment due date is September 1st, you will not be charged a late fee unless you fail to make your payment by September 15th.)
Saturday, August 31
- 12:00 PM (EDT): Mobile Deposit, Online Banking, Bill Pay, and External Transfers go offline. They will be unavailable until after the upgrade is complete.
- Branches and Call Center will be closed.
- Shared Branching will NOT BE AVAILABLE.
- ATM deposits WILL NOT POST until Tuesday, September 3rd.
- ATM balance inquiries will NOT BE AVAILABLE.
- Upgrade complete and card access available.
- Online Banking back online.
- Account Type (S1, S9, etc) will now be Loan/Share ID (4-digit number.)
What’s NOT Changing
- Your Direct Deposit(s) will still process. Note: If you received an ACH letter, you must comply to avoid disruption.
- Your checks will still process.
- Your account number (member number) will still be the same.
- Your Online/Mobile Banking username and password will stay the same.
- Your scheduled transfers and automatic payments will remain scheduled.
- Bill Pay will remain the same and payments will remain scheduled.
- Your debit and credit card numbers and their pins will stay the same.
What IS Changing
- Online/Mobile Banking will have an updated look. Android users will need to download the new app. Apple users will need to update their current app.
- You will be able to view your e-Statements and Alerts in the Mobile App. Past two years of e-Statements will be available.
- Account Type (S1,S9, etc.) will now appear as a four-digit Loan/Share ID.
- Monthly statements will have a new look beginning October 1st.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find my MICR ID for electronic deposits/withdrawals?
You can find your 14-digit MICR account number for electronic (ACH) transactions from your Online Banking dashboard or within the Class Act mobile app.
From your Online Banking dashboard, select the Account widget on the left and you can find your MICR number under the Account Details tab.
What will change with Online/Mobile Banking upgrade?
You will need to download the new app on mobile but the login for online banking will remain the same. Your username and password will stay the same as well. The look and feel of both Online and Mobile banking will be updated with a more responsive design. Many of the features will look very similar and the same, plus additional functionality will be available.
Will my Account/Member number be the same?
Yes, you will have the same Account number or Member number.
How do I find my Share or Loan ID?
You will find your unique Share/Loan ID in Online/Mobile Banking next to the title of each account. Share IDs begin with “S,” followed by four numbers. Loan IDs begin with “L,” followed by four numbers.
You will also see each your Share/Loan ID listed next to your accounts on each month-end statement.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are attempting to transfer between Class Act accounts or to another Class Act member, you will need the Account ID, the Share/Loan ID, and the first two letters of the account holder’s last name in order to initiate the transfer.
Is my credit card due date changing?
No. Although the credit card statements will be cut early, your due date will remain the same.
Will my Online Banking password be the same?
Yes. You will use the same username and password for Online and Mobile Banking.
If you are a Quicken, Quickbooks, or Mint user, you will need to modify your settings to ensure a smooth transition of your data.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to export all necessary information before Online Banking goes offline at 12:00 PM (EDT) on Saturday, August 31st.
